The show has lots of regular features where listeners may be able to get involved:
"THE PHILL-GOOD FACTOR" aka "THE ROLLOVER" - The first hour after Wake Up With Webbo where we carry on the game of the morning or in the case of Friday, carry on the requests
"ELEVENSES" - a quick quiz where you have to identify the songs from the medley
"MUM'S THE WORD" where Phill's Mum reads a lyric from a song and you the listener can get in touch to guess what the song is and who its by
"THE LUNCHTIME LONGPLAYER" where Phill plays tracks from a classic album chosen by you, the listener
"THE SHOWSTOPPER" a Facebook-led poll where you the listener can choose which song ends the show just before 2pm each day
Phill also makes it his business to talk to community groups, charities, youth groups and other organisations to give them the chance to publicize themselves and any events they have coming up. If you fancy coming in for a chat on Radio Ashford Daytimes - email firstname.lastname@example.org and those details will be passed to Phill for him to contact you.
Phill was born in Devon but moved to Kent with his family when he was just five years old.
He joined hospital radio, purely as a vinyl librarian, back in the summer of 1993 but by the end of the year had well and truly caught the bug and is very happy to be able to call Radio Ashford his "day job"
In his spare time Phill masquerades around some of the local hostelries as Mr Quiz, running quiz nights. He is married to Liz and they love spending time with family and friends and more often than not can be found with a craft beer in his hand.
